The XeroMem IRC Network is pleased to announce the completion of upgrades to the network software packages. At this time, we’ve updated to UnrealIRCd v 3.2.10.4 and Anope 2.0.2. The changes that come with these updates are more on the back-end side and are less visible to our end user. However, those who visit the network regularly may notice changes in the server names.
After careful consideration, the decision was made to upgrade the naming convention used on XeroMem. Because of the size of the network, having geographical locations in each servers’ name no longer made sense. As such, server names have been updated and should reflect effective today, moving forward.
